The next edition of the workshop „Recent Advances in Multi-Objective Optimization“ (RAMOO) will take place at the Straubing Campus of the Technical University of Munich on 11 and 12 September 2025. The workshop focuses on latest advances in exact methods in multi-objective (mixed) integer optimization. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

  • Multi-objective discrete/combinatorial problems
  • Multi-objective mixed integer (non)-linear problems
  • Multi-objective continuous non-linear problems
  • Multi-objective branch-and-bound algorithms
  • Multi-objective branch-and-cut algorithms
  • Column generation and branch-and-price algorithms
  • Objective space algorithms
  • Stochastic multi-objective optimization
  • Robust multi-objective optimization
  • Complexity analysis of multi-objective optimization algorithms
  • Parallelization of exact algorithms in multi-objective optimisation
  • Approximation and representation algorithms for multi-objective optimization

The workshop will start in the morning of Thursday, 11 September, and end around lunchtime on Friday, 12 September. For those traveling from further away, it is thus advisable to arrive already on Wednesday, 10 September. The two keynote talks will be given by Sophie Parragh (Johannes Kepler University Linz) and Oliver Stein (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology). More information can be found on the workshop website (https://moo.univie.ac.at/). The full program and the registration will be available in early July.

International Conference on Optimization and Decision Science 2025 (ODS 2025), Milano (Italy)

Dear Colleagues,

the International Conference on Optimization and Decision Science 2025 (ODS 2025), organized by AIRO, the Italian Operations Research Society will be held in Milan (Italy) on September 1st – 4th, 2025.

ODS 2025 is entitled „Mathematics, algorithms and the art and science of decision-making“.

The conference scope includes operations research, optimization, problem solving, decision making and their applications.
This edition will draw inspiration, ideas, and cross-disciplinary influences from the fields of applied mathematics, computer science, engineering, and economics.
The conference will favor the gathering of scholars and experts from these disciplines, the mutual fertilization of their approaches and methodologies, and the exploration of their challenges.

ODS 2025 aims to be a venue for academics, professionals, private corporations, public stakeholders, industries, and freelance decision-makers to propose attempts and solutions, engage in knowledge sharing and showcase applications.

Methodological contributions as well as reports on relevant applied research projects are welcome.
