MIP Workshop Europe

Please mark your calendars for the 2025 Mixed Integer Programming European Workshop!

We are happy to announce the inaugural Mixed Integer Programming (MIP) European Workshop, to be held at LIMOS in Clermont-Ferrand, France from July 1-3 2025. The MIP European Workshop is held in addition to the classical MIP Workshop series and the MIP International Workshop.

The Mixed Integer Programming (MIP) Workshop is a single-track workshop highlighting the latest trends in integer programming and discrete optimization, with speakers chosen by invitation, alongside poster sessions allowing young scholars to present their research. It brings together researchers, students, and industry actors from around the globe, fostering collaboration and providing a showcase for students, early career academics, and developments in industry and novel applications. The MIP European Workshop 2025 is supported by the Mixed Integer Programming Society (MIPS), a section of the Mathematical Optimization Society (MOS).

Further up-to-date information can be found on the website http://www.mixedinteger.org/EUROMIP/2025

We look forward to welcoming you in Clermont-Ferrand!

Learning and Intelligent OptimizatioN Conference (LION 19)

The 19th Learning and Intelligent OptimizatioN Conference
June 15–19, 2025, Prague, Czech Republic

This meeting, which continues the successful series of LION events started 18 years ago (latest editions LION18 @ Ischia, Italy, LION17 @ Nice, France), is exploring the intersections and uncharted territories between machine learning, artificial intelligence, mathematical programming and algorithms for hard optimization problems. The LION Manifesto defines the research area that is relevant for this event.

SimScience 2025

The Third International Workshop on Simulation Science (SimScience) will take place from May 7 to May 9, 2025 in Clausthal-Zellerfeld.

Simulation-based analysis and engineering techniques are traditionally a research focus of Clausthal University of Technology and University of Göttingen, which is especially reflected in their common interdisciplinary research cluster “Simulation Science Center Clausthal-Göttingen”. The third “Clausthal-Göttingen International Workshop on Simulation Science” aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from both industry and academia to report on the latest advances on simulation science. Artificial Intelligence is a powerful tool that in many cases allows more rapid and more efficient evaluation and prediction of research data compared to conventional methods. However, the predictive power of artificial intelligence depends on the availability of large data sets. Therefore, there are various scenarios in different disciplines including natural science, materials engineering, economy and social sciences in which simulations are needed. The workshop therefore focuses on both simulations and AI and their interaction.
